The Eagles have baffled me all season long. I was confident in a major week one victory, but the Eagles barely escaped with a win. I was certain about wins weeks two and three, but the Eagles lost close match-ups there. The Packers seemed probable to win for many reasons last Thursday, yet the Eagles earned a major road victory. The moral of the story is: I have no idea what to expect. The Eagles are a great team, but if they cause themselves issues, they could be a bigger enemy to themselves than the team lining up against them. The Eagles need to get the run game going early and often, but more importantly, the Eagles secondary needs to shut down the Jets’ passing attack. Playing solid defense and pounding the run game should earn the Eagles a nice home victory over a struggling, winless Jets team.
