My record for picking the Eagles this year is 8-8. I have watched this franchise for as long as I can remember, but this, by far, is the most confusing Philadelphia Eagles team that I’ve ever seen. The Eagles have been decimated by injuries, yet the team has somehow found a way to defeat the Cowboys and the Giants to secure a playoff berth. The Eagles vs. Seahawks played week 12 this season, and, in a word, it was sloppy. The Eagles held Wilson to just 200 yards passing and 15 yards rushing, but they lost because of their inability to stop the running game spearheaded by Rashaad Perry. Both teams will be down key players on both sides of the ball, and it will be a battle to see who can pick up the pieces and do the most with it. It’s difficult to beat a team twice in one season, and I think the Eagles are playing with house money, and at home to boot. It’s going to be a close one until they end, but the Eagles have shown they can win games with practice-squad players. I’m flying high with the Eagles in the “Battle of the Birds.”
