The Eagles suffered a heart-breaking loss to the Falcons, and there were many takeaways from the game. While the Lions aren’t nearly as good as the Falcons, they still pose a major challenge, and they have gotten the best of the Eagles in recent history. Matthew Stafford will be looking to air the ball out, and the Eagles will need to set the tone early defensively. The Eagles need to dominate the ground game and get both Miles Sanders and Jordan Howard going immediately. I believe that if the Eagles have a rusher over 75 yards, they will win the game. The Eagles have been working on staying healthy all week long, and they need to avoid more injuries against the Lions as we saw just how destructive they can be. I think the Lions will keep it close, but the Eagles should rebound nicely. Look for the Eagles to use the home crowd to their advantage in a must-win week three match-up.
